Analysis of population health data using record linking

Using up to 10 different linked data sources for mothers and babies the group has considerable expertise in developing new methods and applications for the analysis of routinely-collected population health data.

Current projects include:

  • Using record linkage to validate the quality of routine collected data
  • Using population health data to determine the predictive value of novel antenatal screening tests for adverse pregnancy outcomes
  • Assessing the impact of the baby bonus on birth rates and maternity services.
